I'm at the mountain top
I’m at the mountain top
I breathe what little air
Live my Life at its peak
Not somewhere way down there
I’ve gained more stamina
I’ve grown a thick veneer
From my mountain top, I
Can see the World from here
Across the curvature
Across the curvature
There is more sky than land
After the storms have passed
The dead tree still stands
Live trees and green branches
Have fallen in their path
But one dead tree remains
Withstanding weather’s wrath
Kindness still surpasses
Kindness still surpasses
Intellect and never
Goes out of fashion or
Changes with the weather
Out of common Life, like
An afternoon shower
Come to my rescue, you’re
The stem to my flower
Here at the beginning
Here at the beginning
At the moment of start
An unreachable dream
That cannot fall apart
It’s a dream born on clouds
It never loses height
But will never come true
Always the purest white
Darkness still surrounds me
Darkness still surrounds me
Future hill lies ahead
Can’t recall the last time
Into light, I was led
Danger here, and still the
Answers, a tongueless bell
Turn around, it’s still the
Same direction to hell
I went searching for me
I went searching for me
No answers in the sky
I looked in the woods, but
There was no sign of I
Traveled the less traveled
And I sought company
When I looked no further
The search ended with me
Looking at outerspace
Looking at outerspace
The space between each star
How near they appear, but
Actually, it's far
The World all discovered
Yet questions are in hope
But there are no answers
And no one knows the ropes
