In search for a lesser dream
Watching blurs slow down
My body turns to calm
My ears opening to sound
On impact with what is real
I protect my eyes and heart
From the flying pieces
Of dreams that smash apart
And so begins the search
For a lesser dream to have
A search among the pieces
That are halves of other halves
