Wi-fi tower blinking

Wi-fi tower blinking
Like a land-locked lighthouse 
Highway hawks perched high at
Every other farmhouse 

No rain and no sunshine
The cornfields without corn
The sky without blue and 
Clouds like sheep clothing shorn
